SGC1-F185

An AC contactor functions as an automatic switching device that utilizes electromagnetic force to drive mechanical contacts for circuit connection and disconnection. It serves as the “remote control executor” in power systems, with its core capability lying in indirectly manipulating high-current main circuits (contact-side) through low-current control loops (coil-side). This mechanism resolves the challenge of direct human operation on high-voltage, high-current equipment, achieving a safe control logic of “controlling the strong with the weak”.

  • Rated voltage: 1000V AC
  • Integrated arc-extinguishing and surge/short-circuit protection
  • Compliant with IEC 62196, SEMKO/CE/CB/TUVcertifications
  • Compatible with thermal overload relays for motor protection
  • AgW contacts: high wear/conductivity

Product
Description

SGC1-F Series AC Contactor delivers 800A switching capacity at 1000V, handling grid fluctuations with 85%-110% pickup voltage; its dual-break contacts achieve 10kA making/8kA breaking capacity for millisecond response. Integrated arc-extinguishing with OV/UV/short-circuit/surge protections comply with IEC 62196 and SEMKO/CE/CB/TUV. IP20 enclosure resists dust in -5℃ to +40℃. Optimized for DIN rail/screw mounting in mining/shipboard/steel mill applications, leveraging silver-tungsten contacts for 10M cycles.

To ensure long-term stable operation, systematic periodic maintenance is required: Perform AgW main contact carbon cleaning biannually with anhydrous ethanol, polish only if resistance >500μΩ; inspect arc chutes for debris/deformation, replace if damaged. Quarterly test coil resistance (±10% tolerance), verify short-circuit ring integrity (prevent >85dB noise). Annually: lubricate pivots with MoS₂lubricant (no silicone grease) for -5~40℃ operation, calibrate contact pressure (<0.1mm phase synchrony), validate OV/UV protection via 187V/242V simulation. Continuously monitor housing temp ≤65℃ (IR thermometry), clear IP20 vents monthly, test aux. contact delay (≤20ms) per 100k ops/quarterly — all under lockout/tagout, logged per IEC 62196.
