The main parameters of the current leakage protector are: operating current and operating time.

Residual Current Device

The operating current can be divided into 14 levels, such as 0.006, 0.01, 0.015, 0.03, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20A.Among them, 30mA or less (including 30mA) belong to high sensitivity, mainly used to prevent all kinds of personal electric shock accidents;The sensitivity is above 30mA and 1000mA (including 1000mA), which is used to prevent electric shock accidents and electric leakage accidents.The low sensitivity above 1000mA is used to prevent electric leakage fire and to monitor a phase-to-ground accident.

In order to avoid malfunctions, the inoperative current of the protection device must not be less than half of the rated operating current.

The operating time of the leakage protector refers to the maximum segmentation time during operation. Should be determined according to the protection requirements, there are fast, definite time-limited and delay-type points. The time-delay type can only be used for the leakage protector whose operating current is more than 30mA. Its operation time can be 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1, 1.5 and 2s. To prevent electric shock leakage protection, a high-sensitivity, fast leakage protector should be used. The product of the operating current and the operating time should not exceed 30 mA·s.
