In 2017, the cost of photovoltaic power generation is also falling rapidly. The price after the subsidy is subsidized and the gap between coal power and gas power is narrowing or even appearing later. With the continuous progress of new energy technologies, the continuous growth of investment, and the promotion of large-scale production, it is hoped that the cost structure will be further improved, and the rapid decline in cost will become the trend of new energy development.


  The competitiveness continues to increase. The National Energy Conference proposed that in 2017, China will actively promote key projects in the fields of hydropower, wind power, nuclear power, photovoltaic power generation, and solar thermal power generation, and strive to start a new hydropower installation with a capacity of 20 million kilowatts and an installed capacity of 20 million kilowatts of newly-added wind power grids. The newly added photovoltaic power generation installed capacity of 18 million kilowatts, and strive to start a new nuclear power installed capacity of 10 million kilowatts. In 2017, China will establish a carbon emissions trading market. The release of market value of carbon will further narrow the cost competition between new energy and traditional energy, thus enhancing the competitiveness of new energy.


  The photovoltaic industry is the most noteworthy. In recent years, China's photovoltaic industry has developed rapidly, and it has gained an opportunity in the international competition. It has become the world's most important photovoltaic product manufacturing country and the fastest-growing photovoltaic application market.
