The reason and treatment method of circuit breaker overstep tripping

In our daily electromechanical maintenance, we sometimes encounter the first level circuit breaker that should be used for electrical equipment, but how about the first or lower circuit breakers? 


The main conditions of the overstep trip:

1 main switching load capacity main switch has leakage protection device. However, there is no separation. When the electric leakage is greater than 30 mah, the main switch will jump.

2 Two level circuit breaker protection does not match, try to use the circuit breaker with the brand. <BR> regular load operation main switch causes the electric contact with electric shock to increase the current and raise the heat trip.

3. The protection of the lower circuit breaker configuration can not correctly diagnose the fault (such as single-phase ground fault but not configured zero sequence protection).

4. The aging of circuit breaker results in the longer and longer separation of the shunt, and the time of shunt trip is smaller than that of the previous one.


The way of trans-grade tripping

If a superior circuit breaker oversteps the trip, if there is a separate protection action, but the circuit breaker is not tripping, then the circuit breaker is broken and the upper circuit breaker is restored. If it is found that there is no action for the protection of each branch, it should check that there are no failures in the scope of the power failure. If there is no fault, the circuit breaker can be closed and the circuit breaker shall be tested one by one. When a power circuit breaker is sent to a certain branch, the circuit breaker can be identified as a fault circuit breaker. The line can be isolated and repaired and replaced
