Distribution box and switch box construction and installation points

1. Distribution box and switch box settings

(1) The distribution system shall be equipped with a total distribution box and a distribution box, and shall implement a hierarchical distribution.

(2) The switch box shall be distributed by the final distribution box.

(3) The horizontal distance between the switch box and the controlled fixed electrical equipment should not exceed 3M.

(4) There should be enough space and channels for the two people to work at the same time around the distribution box and the switch box, and no items that impede operation or maintenance should be stacked.

(5) The distribution box and switch box shall be installed in a proper and firm manner. The mobile distribution box and the switch box shall be installed on a sturdy stand. Fixed distribution box, switch box bottom is greater than 1.3M, less than 1.5M.

(6) Switching appliances and outlets in the distribution box should be firm and not loose or skewed.

(7) The working neutral line and protective earth line in the distribution box and switch box must not be mixed.

(8) Insulation cables shall be used for the connection wires in the distribution box and switch box. The joints shall not be loosened and there shall be no exposed live parts.

(9) The metal box of the distribution box and the switch box, the installation of metal electrical appliances, and the non-charged metal bases and shells of the electrical appliances inside the box must be protected and grounded. The protection neutral line should be connected via the terminal block.

(10) Distribution boxes and switch boxes must be protected against rain, dust, and smash.

2. Electrical device selection

(1) The electrical equipment in the distribution box and switch box must be reliable and intact, and the use of damaged and unqualified electrical appliances must not be used.

(2) The total distribution box should be equipped with total automatic switch and shunt automatic switch, main fuse and shunt fuse, and leakage protector. The rating and setting value of the main switchgear must be compatible with the shunt switchgear.

(3) The total distribution box shall be equipped with voltmeter, total ammeter, total power meter and other instruments.

(4) The distribution box shall be equipped with a total automatic switch and a shunt automatic switch, a main fuse, and a shunt fuse. The rating and setting value of the main switchgear must be compatible with the shunt switchgear.

(5) Each electrical equipment should have its own dedicated switch box. It must implement the "one machine and one brake" system. It is forbidden to use the same switch electrical equipment to directly control two or more electrical equipment.

(6) The switchgear in the switch box must be able to use electrical equipment for power isolation under all circumstances.

(7) The leakage protector must be installed in the switch box. Leakage protectors shall be installed on the load side of the switchgear power disconnector and on the load side of the switchgear power disconnector.

(8) The selection of the leakage protector shall comply with the requirements of the national standard GB6829-86 "Leakage current protection device (residual current protection device)". The leakage protection device within the switch box shall have a rated leakage action current of not more than 30mA. The operating time should be less than 0.1S.

(9) The rated leakage action current and the rated leakage action time of the two-stage leakage protector in the total distribution box and the switch box shall be reasonably matched so that they have the function of hierarchical segment protection.

(10) The leakage protector must be installed and used according to the product instructions. Leakage protectors that have been put on hold for a long period of time to be reused and used continuously for one month should be carefully examined for their characteristics and any problems found repaired or replaced in a timely manner.

(11) Manual switch appliances may only be used for direct control of lighting circuits and power circuits with a capacity of no more than 5.5 kW. The power circuit with a capacity greater than 5.5KW shall be controlled by an automatic switching device or a step-down starting device.

(12) The ratings of various switchgear should be compatible with the ratings of their control equipment.

(13) The inlet and outlet openings of the conductors in the distribution box and switch box shall be located on the bottom surface of the box and shall not be placed on the top, side, rear or door of the box. Incoming and outgoing cables shall be shunted into bundles and waterproof bends shall be made. The bundle of wires shall not be in direct contact with the inlet and outlet of the box. Electrically insulated cables must be used for the entry and exit of mobile distribution boxes and switch boxes.

(14) Do not connect the power cord to the switch box with the socket.
